Student Teacher in Music Department

Mr. Junior Darwin, a senior from Briar Cliff University is student teaching in the Hinton vocal music department.  He started at the beginning of the school year and will be student-teaching through mid-November.  He is teaching under the guidance of Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Huygens.  Junior is enthusiastic about his classes and the many extra-curricular activities in which he is involved.  Welcome Mr. Darwin!

Text Box: Has it been awhile since you have said or read any nursery rhymes? The first graders at Hinton have been reading, retelling, and working with nursery rhymes. One of them could help you answer the following questions:
At what time did the mouse run down the clock?
What part of his body did Jack break tumbling down the hill?
Who couldn’t put Humpty Dumpty back together again?
Why did Old Mother Hubbard go to her cupboard?
What was Miss Muffet eating when she sat on her tuffet?
Above are just a few of the nursery rhymes the first graders have been working on. If you have an opportunity, please read and say these rhymes with your children or grandchildren at home. You will not know how much fun nursery rhymes can be until you share them with someone.
