Dance Clinic

The All-Stars Dance Team is sponsoring a Dance Clinic for students in grades DK-5 on Friday, March 16 from 3:30 to 7:30. The students will be put into groups depending on their age and will learn a dance routine that they will perform on Drill Team Night. Drill Team Night is on March 23. Boys are encouraged to sign up, too! We have had an all-male dance the last few years!

The students who return their sign-up forms will be given a t-shirt, a slice of pizza and a pop on that Friday. The cost of the clinic is $20.00. Sign up forms have already been sent home with the students. Please call Mrs. Janell Heimgartner if you have any questions.

Drill Team Night

Mark Friday, March 23 on your calendars! The Hinton All-Star Dance Team is hosting their annual Drill Team Night. We are working hard to put together a fun-filled evening. Drill Team Night starts at 7:00. You can come to watch a variety of dances from many different age groups.

Last year our goal was to

High School Girl’s Track

In the February, newsletter I spoke of my returning state qualifiers. In that article, I made mention of my two returning sophomore state qualifiers. I completely over looked my returning two-year state qualifiers, senior Melissa Turman and junior Kinsey Bak. This was a huge over sight on my part, and I wish to make it up to those girls at this time. Melissa has been to state twice, participating in the shuttle hurdle relay. Kinsey has qualified the past two years in the high jump, long jump, and shuttle hurdle relay. My apologies to the girls and their parents for omitting them from the February, article.

In the February, article we also, wrote about the upcoming meet schedule. Since, that printing, new changes have come about. Due to new state regulations, we will not be able to attend the Dan Lennon Relays held in Vermillion. That meet was scheduled for March 27.

raise enough money to go to State Competition. We accomplished our goal and brought home a I rating! We are hoping to attend again next year. Please come out to support the dance team; we promise you will not be disappointed!
