Murderís in the Heir

Simon Starkweather has been found murdered at Starkweather Mansion! Was it the maid with the fireplace poker? Could it have been the cook with a kitchen knife? On the other hand, perhaps it was the butler with the wrench. A slew of suspects with plausible motives can only mean one thing.

†The Hinton High School Drama Department needs your help in solving a murder! Having spent the last few months studying lines and rehearsing, the cast and crew of Murderís in the Heir are nearing opening night.

The stage has been set for an evening of comedy, mayhem, and murder. So join us on November 3 and 4 at 7:00 PM in the HHS gym for an audience participation murder-mystery. You and only you can decide if the butler really did do it.

JH Honor Choir

Eight JH chorus students have been selected to participate in the NW Iowa JH Honor Choir Festival. The students selected are the following:

††††† Alexis Becker, Dylan Kramer- soprano

††††† Erica Van Holland, Amanda Donnell- alto

††††† Austin Schwaderer, Alex Schindler- tenor

††††† Josh Wankum, Stephen Youtzy- bass/baritone

These students, as well as approximately 300 area students, will be performing in concert in LeMars at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, November 7. The director will be Jason Rausch.

The Southwest Iowa Menís Chorus will also be performing as a guest choir. The public is invited to attend. Congratulations to these Hinton eighth graders!
