2013 Art Shows
Hinton students are getting recognized for their artist genius in local art shows! In March and April, there are two different shows that feature artwork created by Hinton students. In Sioux City, the Youth Art Month Exhibition is at the Sioux City Art Center and Buena Vista University is hosting the 2013 High School Juried Art Exhibition.

Band Extravaganza 2013
7:00 PM, Monday, March 4, 2013

Don’t forget our “Band Extravaganza 2013” scheduled for Monday night, March 4th at 7:00pm. This concert features our 5th Grade, 6th Grade, Junior High, and Senior High Bands individually then topping off the evening with the Combined Mass Band performance by all of our student musicians. It should make for an enjoyable and memorable evening for all of us. There is an admission charge for the concert of $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students with all band students admitted free. See You There!!!
Sound Explosions!
he Hinton Junior High show choir, the Sound Explosions will be singing at three different events throughout March. The first event with the show choir competition held at Sloan, “Jubilation”, which will be on Saturday, March 9. They will be performing in the main gym at 8:40 a.m. Next they will be performing at the annual Soundpower concert on Tuesday, March 12 at 7:00 p.m. along with the selected HS senior soloists, the HS Chorus, and the HS show choir, the Soundwaves.
