Thankful for Student Teacher
During this Thanksgiving season, Mrs. Joanning’s first grade class was very thankful to have Miss Cheyann Schimmelpfennig in our classroom. She started her student teaching internship in August and just finished up on November 27. She was a super addition to the first grade classroom helping out and then doing a great job teaching the students.

JH Reading Class
The students in Mrs. Boesch's reading class just completed a project on the elements of literature. Students were grouped together and created children's books that contained all of the elements we studied. We took these completed projects down to the elementary school and shared them with other classes. It was a very fun project and all of the students had a great time! Next, students will be studying genre and character. More great projects to come!
Large Group Speech
Hiba Jarmakani, Lina Khodor, Andy Jessip, and Genevieve Moravek, members of Hinton’s Large Group Speech team, will travel to East High on January 19 with hopes of repeating their success at last year’s District competition and earning a bid to State. The weeks prior to competition, the students will be honing their creative thinking and comedic skills to prepare for their Group Improvisation entry category.
