Math Club 2013-2014
“Line l is perpendicular to lines m and n. If the product of the slopes of all 3 lines is -8, what is the slope of line l?” This is one of 6 problems the math club was challenged with in the most recent math club meeting. Think you have the answer? Keep reading to find out!

The math club meets on the 4th Friday of the month at 7:40 AM. Students take a 6-question test and try to answers as many as possible in 30 minutes. The problems range from basic algebra, geometry, advanced algebra, and even a little trigonometry.

1to1 Save The Date
The 9-12 rollout for student computers will be held on Wednesday, August 13th and Thursday, August 14th. Students will be grouped according to the first letter of  their last name. More information will be sent out this summer.

Tuesday, April 15, and Wednesday , April 16, Northwest Iowa Community College’s Heavy Equipment Program hosted “Heavy Equipment High School Days” at the Titan Machinery dealership in Sioux City.
