Physical Plan and Equipment Levy Vote - September 8th
The Hinton Community will be voting on the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy on September 8, the same time as the School Board Election. The Physical Plant Equipment Levy is a levy that has been in place for 10 years. This levy needs to be voted on by the citizens of the district in order to keep it for another ten years. The Hinton School has used the levy to purchase buses, computers, property for the school to expand, equipment to maintain our grounds and facilities, air conditioners and Smart Boards. This levy is very important for maintenance our school district facilities. The Physical Plant and Equipment Levy monies are not allowed to be used for salaries and this is not an increase.
