On Tuesday, March 4, 2025, residents of Hinton Community School District will have the opportunity to vote on renewing the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) for another 10 years. This IS NOT a tax increase—it simply continues the existing voter-approved funding that helps maintain and improve our school facilities. Without renewal, the current PPEL will expire in 2026.
PPEL funds are essential for building repairs, technology upgrades, transportation needs, safety enhancements, and other infrastructure improvements. Renewing it allows us to continue these necessary investments without impacting classroom funding or increasing taxes.
We encourage all community members to stay informed and make a plan to vote. For more details on the PPEL renewal and its impact, please visit http://bit.ly/hcsd-ppel25.
Thank you for your continued support of our schools!
