Hinton School District Names New Head Activities Director and Assistant Activities Director

HINTON, [State] – The Hinton School District is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jennifer Jacobs-List as the new Head Activities Director and Alex Black as Assistant Activities Director. Both individuals bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to their new roles, which promise to elevate the district’s extracurricular programs.

Mrs. Jacobs-List has been an integral part of the Hinton community for many years, having served as a dedicated social studies teacher and the head softball coach for the past decade. In addition to her leadership in softball, she has contributed as an assistant volleyball and girls' basketball coach. Mrs. Jacobs-List will continue to teach social studies while also dedicating time to her new responsibilities as Activities Director. Expressing her excitement for this opportunity, she stated, "I am excited and blessed to be given this opportunity to lead our extracurriculars at this exciting time in Hinton activities. I cannot wait to see how far we can soar together!"

Joining her in this endeavor is Mr. Alex Black, who has four years of experience as a special education teacher and junior high track coach at Hinton. He is also actively involved in the strength training program during the summer and early morning sessions, demonstrating his commitment to fostering student engagement and athletic development. Mr. Black stated, “I am looking forward to facilitating the growth of Hinton student-athletes, activities, and coaches as they continue to excel in their academic, fine arts, and athletic pursuits!"

Together, Mrs. Jacobs-List and Mr. Black represent a team poised to continue the proud tradition of Hinton and enhance student experiences in extracurricular activities. Their shared vision and collaborative approach aim to grow current programs and introduce new opportunities for all students within the district.
