Any student wanting to get belongings out of lockers or classrooms can come to the school today until 3 o’clock and also from 5-6:30 today. Nurse Tina will be contacting parents about daily meds.
Hinton Students, Families and Staff: Based on Governor Reynolds' recommendation, Hinton Community Schools will not have school tomorrow (Monday, March 16) and will not open for the next four weeks. No students or staff will need to report.

Westwood Jubilation on Saturday, March 14 and the USD Coyote Jazz Festival on Tuesday, March 17 have both been cancelled.
WEC indoor track meet on Monday March 16 at Dordt College has been cancelled.
WITCC is canceling all events through the end of March. This includes the Chad Cargill ACT workshop.

We at Hinton CSD are staying on top of Novel Coronavirus, known as COVID-19. Hinton School District is working closely with Plymouth County Public Health and the Iowa Dept. of Public Health (IDPH) to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff. The Coronavirus hotline is 211. They will answer questions and let you know if you need tested.
