Hinton Schools has limited funds provided through GEER to assist families currently without internet access during the 2020-2021 school year. If your family currently does not have access to the internet, please contact your child's principal to obtain a Request for Assistance form. The district cannot guarantee assistance with connectivity, however every request will be taken into consideration and prioritized based on need and availability of funds.

JH Football game on Tuesday September 22 with Unity will be only 6 quarters. This is due to low numbers at Unity. Game will start at 4:15 and go from there. So if you are a parent of an 8th grader you might want to arrive earlier than normal.

As we continue to celebrate Homecoming Week, we wanted to update the families on a change. The student pep rally will be tentatively moved to Friday, Oct. 2nd. As planned, Coronation is tomorrow at 7 pm at the football field, the parade is at 2:30 on Friday, and the bonfire is on Saturday at 7 pm at Tucker Hill. We plan on streaming Coronation through our Facebook page. We would like to honor and celebrate all of the royalty again at a later date. This Friday's school schedule will be a normal schedule, but not have the last period of the day due to the parade.

We have had numerous parents and staff members ask about the masks we purchased for students and staff regarding whether they could buy more.  So glad you like them!I have contacted the company and we need to order a minimum of 500 to do a reorder.  If you would be interested in ordering additional masks, please e-mail Kim Jauer with the number you would like to purchase at $7.00 each.  If we have enough interest to meet our quota, we will send out order forms and do a re-order.  At that time, you would select your size and pay for the mask.  This is NOT a fundraiser.  We are rounding up to the nearest dollar, so any extra funds would be put in the general fund to help with the costs for disinfectant supplies.
