Junior high students attended this year's Tolerance Week presentation, hosted by the Tolerance Alliance at the Sioux City Orpheum on Wednesday, April 9. Some of the students had the opportunity to meet with Holocaust Terezin Survivor Inge Auerbacher. Every year, Tolerance Week offers an essay and art contest. This year, 8th grader Logan Hageman received an Honorable Mention for his essay.







Mr. Crawford's geometry classes held a bridge-building competition. Congrats to the winners: Nick Vondrak, Noah Wirth, and Jake Wager(not pictured). Their bridge held 82.5 lbs.

The High 5 tunnel was extra long this Friday as the boys and girls track team welcomed students. These athletes are already off to a great season. Be sure to come out and support them at their home meet on April 24.





We are pleased to announce Aly Jurgensmeier as our new Work-Based Learning Coordinator. In this role, she will partner with local businesses to create more work-based learning and leadership opportunities for our students. #watchuslead #watchussoar


There will be a volleyball meeting on Tuesday, April 8th at 7:50 AM in Mr. Mohr's room. This is for all girls interested in playing high school volleyball in the fall.

In celebration of National Ag Week, we held our Drive Your Tractor to School event! FFA members met with 4-6 graders to talk about their tractors. We even had some preschool visitors stop by since it fit right in with their transportation theme this week.











The Hinton School Board welcomed the TK-3 students today for High 5 Friday!
